e2e Materials of Ithica, New York, has announced a biodegradable composite which is made completely of plant materials and which can, at least in concept, be used to make skateboards. The material is said to be ten times stronger and 25 percent lighter than current particleboards, and made from fibers of plants including bamboo, pineapple, and coconut. Search

Tyson, the self-taught "skateboarding bulldog" was to appear at Stockton, California's Asparagus Festival, this past weekend. Tyson has reportedly appeared in multiple movies, one of which was called the "worst movie of the year". DoCoMo, a Japanese mobile phone provider, is releasing a new "skateboard dash" game which uses the phone much like a controller on the Nintendo Wii.
