Bridgewater Canada Skatepark Movement Raises $41K (Posted 4/16/2007)

Local teenagers in a Bridgewater, Canada * have raised CAN$41,452 ($36,637 in USD) in cash, material and labor towards the construction of a new skateboard park in Lunenburg County. Said Lea Stuempel of the local Rotary Club "We are 100 per cent behind this project." Tyson, the self-taught "skateboarding bulldog" was to appear at Stockton, California *'s Asparagus Festival, this past weekend. Tyson has reportedly appeared in multiple movies, one of which was called the "worst movie of the year". DoCoMo, a Japanese * mobile phone provider, is releasing a new "skateboard dash" game which uses the phone much like a controller on the Nintendo * Wii *.
