We sadly have to report the passing of Ian's beloved Mum, Muriel Johnson. Muriel lived at Woodend Farm with her husband Dennis from 1962 until 2000, when they retired and passed the farm tenancy to Ian. Anyone who's camped at Out To Grass, will likely have met Dennis and Muriel on one of their tours of the farm to check up on us all and sell you their eggs!
Muriel was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother (and a very kind mother-in-law) and will be sadly missed by many in Herefordshire and beyond.
We have taken the decision to close Out to Grass this weekend, which means that we will now be closed for the winter. But don't worry, Muriel was very proud of Ian's achievements with the centre and we will definitely reopen as usual in the Spring.
