Reports indicate that producers are seeking people of "70's Venice Beach * California-Surfer guys and gals" of "all and mixed ethnicities" who are "very natural", that is, with no tattoos, piercings, dyed hair, or "whacked modern hair styles". Apparently they are seeking male and female "18+ Latino (longer haired) gang member types", "18+ Longhaired hippy stoners", "18+ homeless, sun weathered, beach types", and "35+ Conservative square authority"-type people, "tourists of all types" 18 or older, and "men with moustaches and women with long, straight hair" in the 30-plus age range.

Apparently they are also seeking pre-1974 cars in good condition, and beaters dated "even earlier".
