Noggin, a subsidiary of Nickelodean, is working on the pilot episode of a new series aimed at presenting a fresh approach to getting through teenage life. Casting is currently occuring in Los Angeles * and Assistant Casting Director Eva Scott is seeking teen male and female skateboarders, preferably a co-ed group of friends, to host the show.
Assuming the show goes into production, ten to twelve episodes would likely be filmed. Final casting is expected occur the evening of Thursday, January 8th 2004 *, but submissions after that date will be considered. Noggin espouses a "connected learning" approach, which "links key educational content with experiences children know and love" and tries to make "the most of the time children spend watching TV and playing online."
Chelsea Casting does a wide range of advertising and commercial campaigns with clients including the Gap, Levi's, Coca Cola and Burger King.
