Minneapolis, Minnesota * - On mission to promote the growth of skateparks * in communities across America, Andy Macdonald * becomes one of the first skateboarders to endorse a skatepark manufacturer. Andy has teamed up with Skatewave(tm) Modular Skatepark Systems, and will be featured in Skatewave advertising and communications. Skatewave is a division of Landscape Structures Inc., and is based in Delano, Minnesota.
Andy sees his relationship with Skatewave as a means to help all skateboarders. ''I’ve spent most of my life at skateparks,'' says Macdonald. ''They have shaped who I am and everything I will become. That’s why I have teamed with Skatewave. They share my passion for skateparks. I feel it in their obstacles and sense it in their park designs. Together we’re on a mission to build skateparks in every North American town. Some day I hope to see a skatepark next to every municipal basketball court.''
Approximately 200 Skatewave skateparks have been installed since their introduction in 2001 *, making the company one of the fastest growing skatepark builders in the nation.
