Greg S. Carroll, after his twelve years of being the team manager for Think Skateboards, thirteen years for Venture trucks * and the past three years for the Lucky he has passed along his knowledge and stress to three men that will try to fill his shoes. Greg will still help make a lot of the final decisions on who’s on and who’s off the teams. The list of new managers are as follows for Think Skateboards: Matt McGinley, Venture trucks: Justin Williams, and all three Lucky divisions: Marcell Turner. Greg will now be helping out with the actual business side of things.
The new Think video "Free At Last" is finished and should be on store shelves before you read this. And get this, it’s free…that’s right, and it’s not a ten minute promo video that we’re trying to sell for $24.95 it’s approximately 30 minutes long and it wont cost a cent…if you can’t find it at your shop, then demand it from them.
It is the first in a series…next up, the amateur focus video out in the spring.
Dan Drehobl * is in New Zealand * at the moment on a Vans * tour. I’m sure corpsy is blowing minds all over the island.
Pat Duffy * & Pancho Moler * have parted ways with Pyro Shoes and are already in negotiations to figure out whose shoes to start slipping his feet into.
Pancho Moler’s new "Panchomon" board is out and has already become an instant classic.
Jake Nunn * is in Texas * for the holidays skating and relaxing after finishing his part for "Free At Last", a 411 profile and an interview in Slap. Word is all the spots Austin * are already being destroyed by him. He also landed himself on Odyssey backpacks before he left San Francisco *
Jesse Paez * had surgery in early December to repair his problematic shoulder. After over 27 dislocations, no exaggeration his life will now be a lot less painful. He’ll be back sooner than you think.
Think AM’s Alysson Castro * and Airto Jackson are also both back on their boards and skating hard after long months recovering from knee problems. Alysson spent over a month with his leg completely immobilized and is already throwing himself down rails again. Airto’s ACL is in working order again, and he’s in southern California * escaping the East Coast winter.
Think AM Danny Fuenzalida * is now living in San Jose making an impression all over California. Watch out for the AM’s.
Think Am Sean Payne * is back in Hawaii * for a few weeks trying to escape winter but he’ll be back within the month. If you don’t know who he is now, you will soon.
After returning to the US from a few years of residence in Sydney as a photographer for Slam Skateboard Magazine (Australia) Matt McGinley has been appointed as photographer/team manager at Think.
