Landyachtz Longboards

Welcome to Landyachtz Longboards. Our team of riders have been dominating the longboard racing scene for years, winning the IGSA world championship in 2005 and 2006, the Evo has seen more podiums and won more races than any other board available. Not only has our longboarding team been ripping the scene apart, but they have been beating the hell out of our prototypes to ensure only the toughest, fastest and most capable longboards make it to you. The toughest longboards out there, and the longest lasting, we believe you shouldn’t need to buy more gear because yours is wearing out. Our longboards are built to last, just like the Bear trucks which have 10mm axles so they aren’t going to bend under the torque and pressure of big wheels, and our 77mm Hawgs are center set so you can rotate them to avoid coned, worn out wheels. Whether bombing huge hills or carving to the grocery store Landyachtz longboards are designed to make it more fun.

This is where we will be regularly notifying the wide world of longboarding about the LY crew and their tales of hill killing road trips and epic downhill sessions.

Check another one off the list. Scoot Smith, for the second year in a row, wins the Maryhill Festival of Speed IGSA World Championships. He took down over 150 riders on one of the most epic race hills in the world. Scoot is the leader in 2008 World Cup points but not far behind him is Mischo Erban who finished in 7th at Maryhill. Also in the top 10 is Mike McGoldrick, who finish in 4th and Meatball who finished 9th. Still a couple more races to go this season and the Landyachtz team shows no signs of slowing down.

Long time Landyachtz rider and hill bomb mentor to many, Mischo Erban takes another world cup win.
The Rock & Roll world cup marks the 3rd World Cup in Europe in 3 weeks, Mischo did exceptionally well
at both the Peyragudes Deluxe Cup in France and Almabtrieb in Austria where he placed 5th in both events. This
win pulls Mischo within 32 points of Scoot heading into their next meeting at the Maryhill World Championships later this month. Click on the photo to see more about how well team Landyachtz is doing in Racing this year.

Thanks Yorck Dertinger for the photo
The Almabtrieb World Cup has it all, super fast straights, tight 90’s, sweeping 180’s, an incredible list of talented riders, and now it has Scoot Smith as its current champion. Scoot raced a wildly competitive field and pulled out an incredible pass in the final corner to defeat another BC local, Kevin Reimer. This win solidifies Scoots lead in the IGSA World Cup Championship.

Landyachtz has teamed up with Molson’s Pilsner to produce a limited run of these Rad Beer Boards. Pilsner has sponsored and helped the Landyachtz race team this year so support a beer that supports our sport. Look for these boards at your local watering hole.

New model of the Bear 8mm Grizzly's now in stock!

The 4th Annual Vernon DH went down on the weekend and it was a total success.
Landyachtz dominated the racing and the new Monster Hawgs proved to be the wheel of choice
as 3 of 4 racers in the finals were riding the 82a clear red formula.

For the second year in a row our very own Tom "Meatball" Edstrand battled
his way through a huge field of 112 extremely talented riders from all over
North America to win and become the Vernon Dh champion.
