Comme Ça chef David Myers rides his Arbor board to work. "It saves time and it's fun and it keeps your mobility and balance," says Myers, "I hate driving in this city."

High School Musical actor Zac Efron was seen at New York City *'s JFK Airport arriving from Los Angeles with what appeared to be a brand-new skateboard of unknown provenance. Skate on!

According to the Washington Post *, the skateboard like "Ripstik Caster Board" is rising in popularity. The two-wheeled variation on the skateboard was named outdoor toy of the 2008 by the Toy Industry Association.

According to California *'s San Jose Mercury News, fancy-pants educational camps are now including courses like skateboarding in addition to the more predictable writing and debating subjects. Though at one camp, digital claymation may also be taught.
