According to an article in Chicago *'s Daily Herald, two filmmakers from the Windy City are planning to skateboard 850 miles from Chicago, Illinois *, to New York City *.
Skating seven to eight hours per day, Mike Kosciesza and Arthur Swidzinski expect to cover 30-40 miles on a typical leg of the journey.
The duo plans to make a documentary about the adventure and the hardships, drama, and triumphs it brings.
They plan to donate a portion of their proceeds to the Tribune Foundation's Neediest Children's Fund. More about their plans can be found at shredamericafilms.com
