Los Angeles *, California * -- Tony Alva *, the longtime Dogtown * skateboarder, has announced the opening of his new Los Angeles skateboard and lifestyle store, Alva Los Angeles.

Located in the heart of Los Angeles’ "Little Ethiopia" district, the new Alva LA store will feature the company’s entire line of skateboard products, clothing, books, video games and dvds.

Tony Alva himself is expected to be on location to greet friends, customers and fans, and to sign autographs at the new store, 1086 south fairfax avenue (between olympic and pico), on Saturday, December 17, 2005 * from 1PM to 10PM.

Apparently an open bar will be available from 6-10PM, and DJ Howie Pyro will be spinning the tunes for everyone's listening pleasure.
