don pendleton joins element family
Element Skateboards has announced that Don Pendleton has joined the element family and will become part of the creative team. "With 7 years of graphics and illustration experience in the skateboard industry, Don has a unique and consistent graphic style, bringing solid knowledge of the skate world, along with extensive creative and design experience," says the company. In his role at element, Don is slated to spearhead all aspects of hard-goods graphic design and work closely with product, marketing and the creative team.
Element Trucks *
Element Skateboards has made the jump to trucks, presenting "element trucks with destructo technology" that are intended to "bring a fresh look and feel to a reliable and tested classic".
"rise up" set to release
Rise Up is a movie about the Element Europe * team hitting the road in search of the best spots throughout the continent, and a documentary about the extensive touring these guys have done. Skateboarding "in original and exciting spots such as Croatia *, Estonia *, Spain *, Sardegna, Russia *, Holland *, Belgium *, Holland, France *, Germany *, Switzerland *, and Finland * make this video a virtual skate spot tour through Europe." According to Element, itt is also the first time a us company has dedicated a full length video to it’s European * team. The Element Europe Team includes: Jannae Saario (Finland), Sebastian Hepp (Switzerland), Bas Janssen (Holland), Michael Mackrodt (France/Germany), Jo Lorenz (Germany), and Jean Marc Soulet (Sweden). Rise up is planned to hit stores in September.
element publishes ‘project therapy’
Project Therapy is a "visual imagery of things we come across in our lives", and is designed to be "a book that can be flipped through quickly, or studied in great lengths."
