The Element YMCA skate camp features three skate parks including element land, a site designed in part by element riders. Aside from the street skating are mini ramps and a vert ramp * to satisfy your transition needs.
In addition, one of the highlights of element camp is the lake launch ramp where you land right in Sequoia lake. The fun doesn’t stop with skating as there are multiple activities throughout the day including a board making workshop, elemental awareness, beanie making and art workshops among other camp activities like hiking, canoeing, fishing and more. The camp maintains a limited enrollment to ensure a low camper to counselor ratio.
Skate instruction is on hand for all levels of skating and as Colt Cannon says, “the counselors are all amazing skaters, so taking advice from them you are never at a loss, as a camper I learned many new tricks from them.”
