After a long 8 year relationship, Etnies * and Mike Vallely * have decided to part ways.
Originally hailing from Edison, New Jersey *, Vallely (or Mike V. as he is known to many) burst onto the skateboarding scene in about 1986 * and joined the Etnies team in 1997 *.
Says Mike V: "Growing up, I was a daydreamer. For so long I lived in a world of my own imagination, and to some extent I still do. But I've always believed in following my dreams with action and creating new dreams along the way. That's how dreams become reality. If you can imagine it and you're willing to go out and put in the time, anything is possible."
