With over 13 feet of snow currently at Boreal, you might not think this is the best time to go skateboarding there. Think again! On March 5th 2005 *, Boreal will be opening their new indoor skateboard bowl with demos, an outdoor barbeque, a skate contest, free food, music and jam contest, and prizes. The new indoor Skate Bowl is located in the building at the east end of the parking lot.

The one-day event, which begins at 11AM, is free. Normal park Hours are Monday through Thursday from 3pm to 9pm, Friday and Saturday from 11am to 9pm, and Sunday from 11am to 4pm. Prices for non-members are $5 for a 30-minute session during the week and $7 on weekends. An optional $25 frequent-user membership drops the pricing to $3 for a 30-minute session during the week and $5 on weekends.
