According to several media channels, skateboard pro extraordinaire Tony Hawk * will be guest-starring on an upcoming episode of CSI: Miami * to be titled "Game Over".

In the episode, Hawk is expected to play a "famous skateboarder" in the process of developing a video game. Filming is expected to take place on February 22nd and 23rd, and the show will likely air during April 2005 *.

Tying in with the filming was a planned fund raiser launched by the Tony Hawk Foundation * whereby two passes to the filming were being auctioned on Ebay. But the auction closed without the reserve price being met (meaning no one offered enough money to win the auction).

In real life, Tony has been a pro since the ripe age of 15 and is considered by many to be one of the finest skateboarders in the world, not to mention his prodigious people and media skills.

In addition to his skateboard and video game industry involvements, Hawk has also appeared in movies including Thrashin', Gleaming the Cube *, Haggard: The Movie, Triple-X (that was really the title), Deck Dogz, and in TV shows including Celebrity Poker Showdown, Viva La Bam, Mad TV, Who Wants To Be A Millionaire, Jackass *, The Martin Short Show, and Arli$$.
