The member companies of the International Association of Skateboard Companies * (IASC) have introduced the first annual "Go Skateboarding Day *," designated to occur on June 21st, 2004 *. Designed to be a historical beginning of a long-running tradition, Go Skateboarding Day is intended to help everyone to take a break, get together with family and friends, go to their favorite spot and "let the good times roll!"

Go Skateboarding Day, which by design coincides with the first day of summer, June 21st, is intended to help create "an international holiday beast of its own."

Organizers encourage you to "Spread the word: Go Skateboarding Day. June 21st, All day, all night."
