Besides picking up his new Honda CR 125 as an Ambassador sponsored rider, Steve Caballero * was featured in MX Magazine in an article on the Supercross Celebrity Crossover event held in February. He will be doing some promo MX races in Glen Helen and at the Hangtown Nationals in Sacto. He is also an official music reviewer for Racer X Motocross magazine. Speaking of music, his band,  The Faction will be featured on a new skate rock compilation released by Sessions * records with a bunch of other famous Pro-skater bands. The Faction Plays this month on April 19th (flyer attached) at the Blank club in downtown San Jose. Steve’s art was featured in Juxtapoz Magazine recently.

In CAB skateboard news, he has plans to go to Woodward * the last week of May for their first week of camp. He just signed a deal with FOX Racing to wear the skateboard knee and elbow pads that he helped design. He will be endorsing Skatewave *’s street urban skate obstacles and be a spokesman for their skatepark * development program. A Krux * truck demo and Slam City Jam * are upcoming for him.

Pat Channita * has not stopped since his injury has healed. He recently went out to Las Vegas * with the Genetic * team for a demo and will tour with Big Brother * this month. Watch for Pat in an upcoming Mountain Dew commercial on your television.

Jon Comer * broke his back up foot and can’t skate until his new foot comes in. In the downtime he will be writing stories on his life to be put together with images from his documentary for a book. His documentary is 80% done and has been submitted to the Cannes Film Festival for review. Jon will be on the VANS * Warp Tour this summer.

Moses Itkonen * flew out to Montreal * for his operation on March 17th. Dr. Ranger cut in, drilled some holes and inserted a synthetic ligament (LARS polyester ligament) to replace the useless original.  Moses chose not to go under general anesthetic and instead had an epidural so he was able to film the entire operation!  Moses is now walking around normally, undergoing intensive rehabilitation, and plans on being back on his board before this summer.

Rodney Jones *’ first pro model deck was released and has sold out. He recently signed a year contract with Skatewave modular skatepark systems. He will be doing demos for grand openings and other events.

Returning from Tampa * he caught his breath and a plane to San Antonio, TX for what seemed to be 1,000 autographs and to do another demo for Skatewave. The following day was a demo in El Paso, TX where he enjoyed their new concrete park which Rod Dog says,  “Blows away all of the parks in California *. Three good reasons: good smooth concrete, no pads, and lights until 10:00 p.m.” He came home for a brief visit and then jumped in a van with some of the Bones Wheels * team to destroy Arizona *.

Danny Wainwright * is working on bonus footage for the DVD release of, Jus Foolin, the 50-50 shop video. He just won the Etnies * European * Open held yesterday in Birmingham, England *.

First Tony Manfre * gets a twelve page interview in SLAP Magazine #131, June 2003 * and now he’s on the cover of Document Magazine issue 30 from the UK *. Tyler Hansen * has an interview in Happy Magazine this month. Silas Baxter-Neal * has been cooking up Thai food at the Tasty Thai Kitchen in Eugene, OR and throwing down tons of sick tricks at the new skatepark near his house. Oliver Buchanan * is on the Bones Wheels tour.

Jordan Hoffart * is putting the finishing touches on a video part and will be on the “Lock Up Your Daughters Tour 2003” across Canada * in June.. Here is the line up:
