BELLFLOWER, Calif.--Hollywood Sports, the exciting new extreme sports showcase will open to the public on Monday, July 8. A Grand Opening Ribbon Cutting Ceremony will be held on June 27 at 12 noon, attended by Dennis Bukowski, President of Hollywood Sports Park, LLC; Mayor John Pratt of Bellflower, city council members, a representative of LA County Sheriff Lee Baca, and extreme sports industry professionals.

"It's been a long road to get to this day, but we are pleased we took the time to make this the best extreme Sports Park in the country," says Bukowski. "We are very gratified to have the support of the community of Bellflower, extreme sports professionals and competitors from around the world who offered their suggestions and recommendations for the design of the park."

The park has been under construction over the past year on the site of a former 9-hole municipal golf course, and offers one of the best collections of dedicated extreme sports tracks and areas in the country. Hollywood Sports park allows visitors from around the world to enjoy BMX biking, skateboarding, in-line skating, paintball games, rock climbing, a slick track speedway, plus volleyball, basketball, tennis, arcade and night club facilities.

The park not only offers the latest innovations in sports, but also combines them with the glamour of Hollywood, creating a multifaceted recreational and entertainment experience unlike any other. Integral to the Hollywood Sports concept is the use of actual movie and TV sets to create scenarios and environments that make visitors feel as if they are part of a major production. It is the first major theme park to combine both participatory sports and entertainment, while delivering the fun of some of the 21st century's most popular extreme sports on both recreational and competitive levels.
