EUROPEAN * SKATEBOARD CUP
STREET - VERT RAMP *- BOWL
2nd, 3rd, 4th of August 2002 * Montpellier Grammont, France *
For the third consecutive year, the « ATTITUDE Festival * » includes an European Skateboard Cup in its program. This major event on French * soil brings together a selection of teams from different countries such as Germany *, Italy *, Netherlands *, Belgium *, Ireland *, Czech * republic, Spain * and Great Britain *.
This innovating concept in the skateboarding event world aims at establish an official European organization devoted to structuring internationally this sport. Only the 30 top French riders will be invited to compete.
Montpellier’s street area will be renewed, 2 new central fun boxes * will be fitted allowing new technical achievements ; it will also be redecorated by « Street Art Performance » a group of graffiti artists from Barcelona * whose art work will be exhibited throughout the festival.
Like every year we will end the day in music with local DJs spinning reggae, drum n bass, hip hop and more funky beats and breaks…
Whether you are a spectator, rider, promoter, or simply a sympathizer, we hope to see many of you in Montpellier this summer, to demonstrate the strength of the European skateboarding scene.
Prizes for Street, Vert and Bowl competitions range from 500 to 50 francs.
