Peninsula Events Australia * in association with Human Shoes & Hawk Skateboarding is proud to announce a massive expansion to their annual schools skateboarding series, which has already attracted over 20,000 students to the events (held on the Mornington Peninsula in Victoria *) over the past 3 years.

The newly named "Human Desire National Schools Skateboarding Skateboarding Series" will comprise of 30 Individual Sk8 Comps, held in secondary schools all over Victoria, NSW & Queensland Australia in April, May, and June 2002 *, and will feature morning workshops from respected local pro skaters, music from up and coming Australian * Band Noogie (who'll be playing live at selected schools) plus prizes and crowd giveaways! Staying with tradition, this unique series will also be staged free of any charges to either the School, Spectators and/or Entrants.

Event Promoter Paul Harvey said, "The most exciting and appealing part of this series for us, is the fact that we're able to provide these events Totally Free of any charges to either the schools or the entrants and with Human Shoes and Hawk Skateboarding‚s sponsorship involvement, supporting our efforts, we are also now able to introduce our new‚ beginners workshops, which will give even more young skateboarders the opportunity to really learn about, what being a good skateboarder is all about".

Competitors and spectators will receive prizes and giveaways on the day (from each of the Tour Sponsors) plus selected skaters will also be given a once in a lifetime opportunity to fly down to the Mornington Peninsula in Victoria to take part in an Exclusive Human SK8 Clinic, which will offer all sorts of training benefits towards advancements in a professional skateboarding career that money just can't buy.
