European * publishing group Escapi Media BV has joined forces with Extreme Group, the broadcaster, distributor and producer of sports programming, to release a comprehensive record of the World Extreme Games (WEG).
The World Extreme Games are the alternative Olympics for Extreme Sports participants around the globe * and Melbourne * was the venue for the recent event. Extreme Group’s own Extreme Sports Channel was the original sponsor of the event, which has already been distributed to an audience of extreme sports fanatics around the world. The complete coverage is now available to buy on six separate VHS cassette or DVD volumes. It will be retailed by major and independent retailers alike, including Extreme Group’s own subsidiary Extreme Pie – the Shop (see www.extremepie.com).
Each volume includes a total of 1 hour and 16 minutes of pure adrenalin encompassing a variety of different sports such as Wakeboarding, BMX, Sky Surfing, Skateboarding, Mountain Boarding, Kite Surfing, Moto X and many more.
This project is the result of a collaboration between two forward-thinking and innovative companies, one with unparalleled expertise in the production and broadcast of this kind of sporting event, the other with a broad knowledge of how to produce a retail product on VHS & DVD of such content.
