Skateboarding is clearly something that Alloy * has came to from a marketing standpoint, but through their acquisition of CCS * and their cache of internet- and paper-based content, they have clearly become a player in the skateboarding business.
With three major catalogs (CCS for skateboards, Dan's Comp for BMX, and Alloy for fashion), their regular direct mailings, and the fact that they publish Strength Magazine on the internet, Alloy is clearly positioned to market to, and be a part of, the Gen Y present and future.
